Murray Hill Dental considers each and every one of our patients to be a part of our family. We strive to make sure that time spent in our West Columbus dentist office is a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Whether you’re here for a routine cleaning and exam, or receiving complex dental care, our staff will take careful steps to put you at ease during the entire visit.
Each appointment starts with a phone call, where you’ll be connected with one of our receptionists. They provide a listening ear for any dental concerns that you may have and can help you arrange insurance coverage for your care.
As soon as you come through our doors you’ll be greeted with a smile. We welcome you to help yourself to a complimentary Kuirig coffee or bottled water while you wait or fill out paperwork. When you are escorted to the treatment area you’ll find a relaxing atmosphere and wide windows. Natural light during dental treatment allows for optimum shade selections for procedures like crowns or fillings.
The front office and back operatory staff are here to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We listen to your expectations about dental care so that we can cater specifically to your individual wants and needs. If you’re a bit anxious we can assist you with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) during your visit, which helps to mildly relax the nervous system. If you’re more anxious than most, we also offer sedation dentistry. There are no needles with sedation dentistry and it can allow us to complete more complex treatment during fewer appointments. This is achieved through an oral medication and you will be monitored throughout the entire visit.
Our dentist and hygienists are open to your input during treatment. Dental therapy is co-diagnosed along with our patients and your opinion is considered during the treatment plan process. Each and every possible option regarding therapies are reviewed so that you can make the best decision alongside of our staff for the treatment that best suits your lifestyle needs. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to dental care. We prioritize treatment needs based on their severity and the impact that they make to your lifestyle.
The Murray Hill Dental experience is one for the whole family. We treat both adults and their children, so there is no need to locate a pediatric specialist for routine care. Our staff is child-friendly and will walk them through each step of the dental appointment, explaining and showing as they go. Parents are also welcome to stay in the treatment room with their children during their appointment.
If you carry 3rd party dental insurance coverage, we will help you arrange financial reimbursement for your services. While this is a courtesy, it is a step that we take so that you can focus on what’s really important, your oral health needs. Our treatment coordinators arrange estimated co-payments between your insurance so that you can know what to expect, without any surprises.
